This month
Malware Scanning upgrade
Although we already offer weekly malware scanning as standard on all plans we are now rolling out daily malware scanning for any customers on our Enhance or Enhance Pro care plans free of charge.
Malware scanning runs in the background of your website at a scheduled time and looks for files that should not be in the main WordPress installation and plugin/content directories. It checks for files that are possibly infected with malware/backdoors and other security issues.
There is no performance hit, as we schedule all scans during the quiet hours of your website.
If your site has a malware issue we’ll be alerted and let you know straight away. At this point, we can take further action on your behalf to clean your website and make sure it is returned to a safe state.
Weekly and Daily malware scan results are reported in your Website Care Plan Report which is emailed to you on the 5th of each month.
One Hour Audit
We’re pleased to announce a new service which is available on every WordPress Care Plan we offer – our One Hour Audit.
During the onboarding of any new sites with us, we’ll conduct an audit of the site and give you our feedback on its technical merits – from hosting to advice on better plugins/options available based on the type of site it is.
We’ll give you some actionable feedback that you can implement (or if support-based, we’ll do as part of your WordPress Care Plan with us).
Existing customers will also benefit from this and we’ll be emailing out your One Hour Audit details over the next few weeks.
